Chuck Mengel writes the following about The Last Vampire :

Wow! I thought this book would be for young teens, but in all honesty, I would reccomend it to anyone. The series, in its enirety, is excellent. So imaginative and gripping. I will not discuss the plot only because I do not want to expose it until you read it, but let me tell you this, it is the best book I have ever read.
