terra writes the following about Where the Red Fern Grows :
Wilson Rawls wrote a book about how two dogs changed his life in ?Where the Red Fern Grows?.
Billy, the young boy, learns responsibility and the value of a dollar.
Billy learns this by promising his dogs if they treed a coon, that he would do the rest. He didn?t leave the tree until it was cut down and the coon was caught.
He also learns this in another part of this book by taking his money and going to town to get things he and his family needs except for the dogs ,which were for him.
I love this book because it is unforgettable and there are valuable lessons to be learned that this book can teach you.
