How would you like to know the meaning of fun was hiding in you room without making a noise, and not being able to go downstairs? All you could do was read the same books over and over again. Wellthat was what Luke thought until something changed all of that.In the book "Among The Hidden" by Margret Haddix, Luke was a third child. Ever since he could remember he was hiding. He wasn't allowed to see anyone that wasn't in his family so the population police wouldn't find him.
Luke was someone who thougt before he did anything. He didn't really mind hiding when the woods around his house were there. When the government tore down the trees and built houses, Luke had to hide everyday upstairs in his room, while his brothers went to school and parents went to work.
After spending so much time alone, Luke knewhe needed to have a friend to talk to. Luke stared to get braver. When he finally met a friend. He had to come out of hiding so he could keep his frist friendship.
