Cody P. writes the following about The Midwife's Apprentice :
In this book the main character is Alyce. She is poor and homeless in the little village. She gets a job with Jane Sharp a midwife. In a few months Alyce becomes a better midwife than Jane so Alyce trys but fails for her first time so she runs away. She gets a job at an inn and there she learns to read and write. Now knowing that Alyce wants to be a midwife she goes back to Jane and tells her that she won't be quiet and she wants to be the midwifes apprentice.

I think the book was boring. It wasn't exciting and it was hard to follow. Not for people who like exciting books.
