Gillian Williams writes the following about The Cat's Meow :
In the book a little girl's cat says something in spanish to the girl. The girl tells her parents but they don't believe her. When the girl tells her friends they don't believe her either. Nobody believes the girl. But one day everyone finds out it is true.

The main charecters are the girl, her mom and dad, her friends, her cat, and an old man.

I think the book is okay, because there isn't a lot of action. I also think that it would be cool to have a talking cat.
