No Fear Rider 24 writes the following about The Outsiders :
I am a seventh grader who read this book in my reading class. I really enjoyed the book. I would recommend to to anybody above elementary reading level. It has great in-depth on how gangs stick together no matter what like if you mess with one Greasers. The greatest thing is that this book was written by a female. the Greasers are the "bums" of the town. The Socs are the rich punks who jump Greasers. The Socs don't like the Greasers at alll. Johnny, a Greaser, mistakenly stabbs a Soc to death out of self defense. Ponyboy and Johhny are forced to run out of town. I can't tell you everything that happens. Overall though, this was a great fiction novel.
