ryan writes the following about The Outsiders :
The Outsiders is a terrific book. I enjoyed reading it with my classmates. There was nothing in this book that I didn't like, but my favorite part was when Johnny defended Ponyboy, even though this lead to a few tragic events. I liked all of the characters the same besides Johnny. He was my favorite character because he was nice and understood Ponyboy. I like books like The Outsiders. It is about two rival gangs called the Greasers and the Socs. I would recommend this book to any person older than ten years old. This is the first book I have ever read by S.E. Hinton, and it will probably be the last, because I don't like to read.
