Mike writes the following about The Outsiders :
I've read the book only once, but I think it's really good. I would rate it about an 8.2. I would recommend it from 9 to 16 years of age. You have to be 18 or older to order. This is what the story is about.

Ponyboy is walking home and the Socs came to jump him. After that Johnny Dally and Ponyboy sneak into a movie. At the movie they meet Cherry and Machia. After the movies they start to walk the girls home, but the Socs drove up in their tuff mustangs. Two bit showed up. Two bit saw that the socs were giving them a hard time so he broke a bottle for pony and he pulled out his switch. The socs left. Johnny and Ponyboy fell asleep in the lot. Pony woke up and went home.Darry hit him because he yelled at Darry. So Pony ran to the lot got Johnny and ran to the park. The socs showed up and jumped them. They started to drown Pony so Johnny and stabbed Bob and they all ran away. When they went to Windrixville to hide. Johnny and Ponyboy started a fire at the abandon church they hid at. They saved seven kids that were trapped in the fire. You will have to read the rest of the book to find out what happens.
