James writes the following about Shaggy Man of Oz :
In which Tom and Twink from Buffalo go to the Isle of Conjo where Conjo the Magiciand has kidnapped them. So Ozma sends the Shaggy Man to the island because the Love Magnet has broken and only Conjo can fix it. He meets Tom and Twink and escapes with them, along with Twiffle the Clown. They go to many places, and they find the King of the Fairy-Beavers he shows them the Gnome King's tunnel from THE EMERALD CITY OF OZ. They get to Oz and find that Conjo has conquered it!

THE SHAGGY MAN OF OZ was published in 1949. Snow only wrote 3 Oz books, and his 3rd one was A MURDER IN OZ. It is the first Oz horror story! It is not official in the Oz series. Still, Kramer's pictures aren't as good as Niell's, but they are very good. I loved this book very much when I read it, and I still have it. One thing: I thought the Gnome King's tunnel was closed up by Ozma!
