Chey writes the following about The Outsiders :

The book The Outsiders Is great. I think kids above 10 should read this only. It talks about gangs, guns, knifes, and drugs (legal).I think S.E. Hinton wrote this book to tell about the gangs in the 60's and know days. The names of the gangs are the Greasers And the Socs. The greasers have grease in their hair, and the Scos drive mustangs and have madras. PonyBoy,soda, and Darry are all brothers. Steve,Dally ,and Johnny are friends to the curtis. I thaught this book was really good and hope to read it again. The book shows how dangerous gangs are.
