Rose writes the following about The Outsiders :
I think this book is very good. It is one of the best books I have ever read. There is a lot of violence and drug dealing. The book is the best at the very end. My favorite part is when Johnny kills the sacs named bob because Bob was drowning pony boy. There are all kinds of characters like Dally, Darry, Pony boy, Johnny, and other gang members. The socs are the rich ones from the west side. The greasers are from the east and they?re not as rich. I would recommend this book to anyone my age or older. NO one younger because it is too violent and has to deal with drugs.
