Piya writes the following about Max the Mighty :

I really liked this book, and I liked the cover illustration a lot too. To me the cover had a very dreamy feel to it. It is very colorful and dark at the same time. It helped me understand the book in a whole new way. It expresses Max running away with worm to find her father, her real father. I like the illustrations chose by Mr. Philbrick and I think the other reveiwers/critics were wrong, but it is their opinion.
