Maria Vazquez writes the following about The Outsiders :
I read a book that is call The Outsiders. The author?s name is S.E Hinton. The story is about 2 gangs, the Socs and the Greasers. The Greaser were poor and the Socs were rich. It took place in the 1960?s. Ponyboy was the one telling the story he is 14 years old he lives with his 2 brothers Sodapop and Darry. Sodapop is 16 years old and Darry is 20. The Socs and the Greasers did not get along. My opinion about The Outsiders is that it is a great book and it is really interesting to read. High school students should read this book and grownups too. I think that every body that reads this book could enjoy this book. You could read the book or see the movie. I like this book so much that I would give it a 10.
