chris writes the following about The Outsiders :
I think The Outsiders is a great book because it had good comments. The story took place in the 1960?s. It was about two gangs. The Socs are the rich and the Greasers are the poor. The main character Ponyboy lives with his two brothers--Soda Pop and Darry. His friends were Johnny, Two Bit and Dally. I think this story is a nice book because it tells a lot of information. Johnny is a nice boy. He respects everyone. I think he was honest, about the stuff that he wanted to do. I think this book is good for teenage boys ages 15-18. I will give this book an 8 out of 10 because it tells good stories, and it tells about the experiences of each of the characters. They were going through a lot of things in their lives. So please read this book it is wonderful. At the end it is sad. This book is interesting. The Outsiders was written by S.E. Hinton .
