In which a dangerous murderer, Sirius Black, who betrayed Harry Potter's parents to Voldemort has escaped from the high security wizard prison at Azkaban, a fortress like prison on a tiny island. He is on the lookout for Harry. So the Dementors have been called in to guard Hogwarts (it is now Harry's third year at the school). The Dementors are blind, which sucks out your soul by a special mouth device at the top of its head. Harry faints when he sees them, and can hear Voldemort murdering his parents in his feelings.
Will these Dementors ever catch Black again? Will Harry ever stay safe from Sirius Black?
HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN was written by J.K. Rowling and first published in 1999. The books were now at the pinnacle of their fame, and in this one, Rowling takes a more sinister edge to her storytelling. With a dangerous murderer at large, who wouldn't be worried for Harry? It is twice as large as THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE and THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS. Please, pretty please, if you've read this review, read it. It is worth buying it. I have read it about 10 times.
