Andrew Clements does an amazing job at seeing the point of view of a 15-year-old in 'Things Not Seen'! The attitude towards people, and other things for Bobby Phillips is written very well by Clements. The book is hilarious at times, and sometimes depressing, or just happy. Other times it can be very scientific, or deep. One thing (or probably the only thing) that makes this book so funny is that the main character, Bobby Phillips, and his friend, Alicia, are always being sarcastic. To be completely honest, there's a lot of crude sarcastic humor (not always crude) in the book. That's why I only recommend this book to teenagers (13 and up). The story can get deep, and even confusing at times, so I'm very confident in saying that 'Things Not Seen' isn't a book for younger kids. I extremely enjoyed reading 'Things Not Seen'. It always kept me on the edge of my seat. Andrew clements did an awesome job at creating the mind of a teenager, and I would say that he's a very good author, and very talented!
