Justin T. Waloshin writes the following about The Giver :
This is the best book that i have ever read! It is different because it is sad and enjoyable at the same time. Lois Lowry is a very talanted writer. I hope she makes this book into a (MOVIE) I would want to see the movie over and over.

The book is about a boy who is turning 12 and he was choosen to take all of the memories of the people. This is a very special role as Jonas the boy would take all the good and bad memories and keep them so that the world that they are living in will stay perfect forever. If jonas doesnt take the memories the people will have pain, sickness, and a terrible life that we are lving in right now.

If you dont get this book or borrow it from your local library you will be missing on the the best book Louis Lowry have ever written.

I give this book 2 thumbs up and 2 toes up.

Great job Lowis Lowry

Sincerly,

Justin Waloshin
