Katie Fauvel writes the following about A Child Called 'It' :
A young boy, David, is severely abused by his mother in an inhuman way. It progresses fom simple beatings to torture chambers with his mother's special mixture of ammonia.

Overall I found this book to be a wonderful read for anyone. The main character's courage is inspirational and makes the reader yearn for more. He shows the reader that anything is possible and that no situation is as bad as it seems.

This is a must read!!!
