Carleigh writes the following about The Red Pony :
A boy named Jody lives on a farm with his mother and father (Carl Tifflun). He receives his very own foal at age six. Billy Buck, Carl's friend, teaches Jody how to care for this red pony. Eventually, the red pony becomes Jody's best friend.

I though this book was confusing at times. It wasn't clear to me and I didn't know what was happening in the novel all the time. I did think it had a good plot however. It is a great book for people who love animals. That is why I read it.

If you read it carefully and pay attention to what is giong on in the story, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Please try it out!
