Brittany Herring writes the following about A Gift of Magic :
I have to say i do not agree with the girl who was talking about this story, this was one of my favorite books of all time ! This story was so exciting and there was never a dull moment ! There is this girl named Kirby she is a wonderful dancer that has been dancing since 3, She did not have a dancing build but her grandmother gave her a gift of magic to be able to dance more beautifully than anyone. Her dance instructor kept saying she didn't look n e thing like she needed to be she was to big boned so she stopped eating which one day she passed out on the stairs because of it. Then her sister Nancy has an awesome was of seeing the past, future and making things happen to people. Well Nancey didn't want Kirby to go to this ballet school far away so when kirby was walking down the stairs Nancy was hoping she would break her leg or something just to keep her there. Well, she fell and she thought it was all her fault...but at the end we found out it was not her at all it was her not eating that did it. Last, there is Brendon he got the gift of music. He can play by ear any song he wants and make it better than how it was written. Basically, Brendon isn't to big in this story but the main thing is about Nancy and Kirby, if you want the full details i highly recomend reading this book ! i would rate it a 10 along with Summer of Fear, and Locked in Time both by Louis Duncan !
