When Elliot hears about NASA'S new program he is overexcited
that he is chosen over one million people to be the first junior astronaut to go into space! This all takes place in a book called
"Countdown" by Ben Mikaelsen. Vincent is the Massi boy who lives in east Africa. When Vincent talks on the ham raidio he is amazed to hear someone takling to him. It was spaceboy Elliot. They argue every day until they meet in Senegal, caused by an emergency landing because of bad weather in the UNITED STATES. They wind up holding hands and hugging. I recommend this book because it teaches you how to respect other culturs their ways of life.
