This is about a boy who has to wear a diaper and goes to the bathroom in a thing called Mr.Thirsty, and a boy who has to kill lions, has no electricity at all, and lives in a wooden tent all his life.
The boy who has to go into Mr. Thirsty is Elliot Schroeder. He wants to go into space to be the first Jr. astronaut to go into space. And the Masaai boy who kills lions,(to prove that he is a man) is called Vincent OL Tome. Vincent wants to learn the white man's way. They both have something in common. Their dad's both don't think that they can succeed.
Elliot won the Jr. astronaut and had to go up in space ,and he proved he could go up to space. At the end of the story they join hands and become best of friends. I would recommend this book to any one who loves to laugh.
