Nick k writes the following about Walk Two Moons :
I thought walk Two Moons was a pretty good book. Salamanca Tree Hill is the 13 and Her mom left her, her dad and grandparents to run away to Idaho. Salamanca is the girl's name because her mom thought that is the tribe her grandma came from. The tribe was really Seneca. Sal is on a road trip to find her mom with her grandparents and tells them the weird story of Phoebe Winterbottom and how her mother disappeared. The weird thing about it was that Phoebe got messages left on her front porch with words of advice on them. One was "Don't judge a man until you you've walked two moons in his moccasins."
These messages were coming from "the Lunatic" who came to there door one day when there mom was'nt home. Anyway the road trip was an adventure, grandma had a stroke. In the end everything went back to normal and Grandpa's beagle was fine and so was the chicken named Blackberry that Ben gave to Sal. It was a pretty emotional book at sometimes but in perspective it was a great book. This book was definetly worthy of a Newberry Medal.
