Lillian/ Bootsie writes the following about The Great Gilly Hopkins :
This story is about a girl named Gilly Hopkins who lives in a foster home. The reason why she lives in a foster home is when she was a baby her mother, Courtney, left her their and never came back.
Gilly Hopkins despises everyone exspecially Miss Ellis. The reason why Gilly despises Miss Ellis is becuase she takes Gilly to what she say's"Stupid foster homes."
This book campares to Annie, the reason why this book compares to Annie is becuase she is left at the orphanage. And in both storys they hate the person who runs the place.
