tiff writes the following about The Cay :
I thought that the book was entertaining, believable, emotional, and unique. I thought the book was entertaining because I got to read about how two people and a cat survive on a deserted island. The book was believable because people back then were racist and there was war in the story. In my opinion, the book was unique because when people write about books, they don't usually get stuck on an island and one of the characters became blind. I think it had emotional power because in the end Timothy dies and he did a lot of things to let Philip survive after Timothy dies. I thought that the book was a really good book because it was entertaining, believable, emotional, and unique.
