Nicole writes the following about The Cay :
I thought that the book was entertaining, original, and emotional. But, I didn't think the book was very believable. I didn't think the book was believable because, I didn't believe that Phillip can swim if he's blind. I thought the book was enetertaining because, the adventures that Phillip and Timothy go through are interseting. I thought that the book was original because, I don't think that anyone would have thought about writing a book about a black man stuck on an island with a white boy. I thought that the book had emotional power because, when Timothy died I almost cried. I would recommend you to read this book because it is entertaining, original, and emotional.
