The Outsiders, by S: E Hinton was great. The book was accelerating, clatching and most of all it made me think about the book. The Outsiders taught me a lesson about how to be thankful. Next the book showed me things that were better about myself. It made me feel stronger and more thankful for myself.
What I like about The Outsiders was it made me think if that was I? It taught me grateful things like when Pony Boy chased after his brother and when they talked It had really powerful emotions to me. It showed me powerful things. The Outsiders changes you into a different person and make you feel proud about yourself.
My favorite line in The Outsiders was when Johnny was about to die and he said, ? stay gold Ponyboy?? Those three words struck me because they meant be yourself, everything?s new and dawn. ?Keep that with you Ponyboy and never forget. Be yourself Ponyboy if you have all that you should be grateful that you have it. It?s a gift.? Said Johnny
The life lesson that I learned from S: E Hinton made me think what if that was me. What would I have done? The Outsider?s characters were powerful, strong, and had a lot of emotions. When the whole book is put together its exciting, adventures, and it made me wonder if that could have been me. It was also clatching I learned a lot of things from this book. The lesson I learned is to be so grateful.
I would really recommend this book from the lesson it gives you and the favorite line and what you liked about the book. To someone who is young, especially boys in junior high that enjoys powerful stories. On a scale of 5 stars I would give this book a 5 because the book show you powerful feelings.
