The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton is a great book with a lot of action suspense and sorrow. S.E. Hinton is a very good writer. The book is very excellent and I think you will enjoy this book.
What I like about the book The Outsiders is there was a lot of action. There is a lot of stuff that just makes the book interesting. There are so many reasons why I say this. Like when a socs got killed in the park by two greasers and the two greasers ran away. Wait that?s a little too much information.
I really like how S.E. Hinton wrote because it was fluid and easy to understand. When she introduces a character she describes them really well. She told about how their bodies were shaped and what their eyes looked like. This is how she described Darry. ?He is a tall dark figure with broad shoulders. His eyes where like blue and green ice."
My favorite quote in the book is when Johnny says to Ponyboy ?Stay gold Ponyboy stay gold.? What that means is to be yourself don?t let anyone change how you are and if they try just tell them back off, I won?t do that. People now a day really need to know this quote because they try to be somebody they never can be. When they fail at how they want to be like they just don?t do well in the rest off their life.
Here's one of my favorite parts of the book to just get you exited. SMASH! Ponyboy smashes the end of the coke bottle on the 1950?s style fender. I mean get back! I?m tired of you pushing me around just because your bigger and have better cars. So I mean it get back! The three socs got back into the car and drove off
