becky writes the following about Island of the Blue Dolphins :
Island of the Blue Dolphins The book Island of the Blue Dolphins was a great book. Scott O?Dell is a wonderful writer. He uses outstanding descriptions. The whole time we were reading I felt like I was in the book. When the main character?s brother got killed I could feel the pain. The main character and her brother got left on their island when all the other people were taken on a boat. Her brother got killed by a pack of wild dogs, so she has to live on the island all by her self. She lived on the island for many years. In that time she caught two dogs, two birds, and one fox. The people came back to get anyone who was left behind. Her family died from a storm that sunk the boat. I really hope you decide to read. Island of the Blue Dolphins.
