Kristina P. writes the following about The Unfortunate Events :
Sometimes it?s hard to be brave when someone is trying to Kill your Aunt, and trying to steal your fortune. At the Baudelaire?s orphans, Aunt Josephine?s city, there?s trouble. How do we help orphans get rid of an Evil man trying to get there fortune? I think you should read this book, because it is entertaining, and there is a lot of good explanations. Well Violet, Klause, and Sunny Bauldelaire, the characters in this book. Are the Bauldelaire orphans going to fail? Well you?d have to find out for your self. What should the Bauldelaire orphans do? This book that Lemony Snicket writes, a story that is filled with facts that captures the readers attention. Like many of Snicket?s other books, Violet, Klause, Sunny, and Count Olaf are his main characters. When you start reading his books, right in the beginning he let?s you know that the book is good or bad. The only suggestion I have is for, to make it happier. In this book it?s all scary, and making your life miserable. The lives of these characters are miserable, after their parents die in the earlier days. I gave this book a 9, because it tells you when the setting is changing and going to the next set. It is 1 point away from 10, because it has some violence that is in a children?s reading book. When you read this book, it is filled with good facts, and great vocabulary. The best excitement of a children?s book will never end.
