SeanL writes the following about Chocolate Touch :

This book is about a boy who loves chocolate more than anything
and skips meals and eats chocolate. But one day when he is
walking to his friend?s house he comes to a candy shop that he had
never seen before. When he goes inside the store he finds an old
man who is the store keep. The old man trades the boy a huge box
of chocolates for a cone that he found on the street. And said that it was the only kind of money that was good at the candy shop but it
was no good anywhere else. It turned out that the box of chocolates
was only one small block of chocolate. He ate it before dinner and
got the chocolate touch! Everything that touched his lips or went
into his mouth turned to chocolate. When he tried to drink some
water it turned to watery chocolate. Everything he tried to eat or
drink turned to chocolate but soon it got worse, much worse as
time went by even if he took a glass of water and tried to take a
drink not just the water would turn to chocolate but the glass would
to. He craved to eat or drink anything but chocolate for the first
time in his life he wanted to eat or drink something that was not chocolate.

I rate this book an 8 on a scale from 1-10 it keeps you guessing and really makes you want to know what?s going to happen on the next page.
