Lauren Carson writes the following about The Secret Garden :
As a 14-year old girl, i really honestly enjoyed the book. As many people would agree, the book had a great moral(friendship). My family and I are a great group of believers in Christ, and I think that He really put this book out here for me because he wanted me to learn how to become a better friend, and to help others in need.
In the copy of the book I read, there was a letter at the front from someone who had read the book before, and I didn't read that letter until I had finished the first two chapters. When I read the letter it seemed as if I was not getting into the book as much as that anonymous reader. So I buckeled down and decided to really get into the book. Once I got to about the 6th chapter I was so thrilled that I had actually found a book that I thoroughly enjoyed.
