DAFFY DUCK writes the following about Hatchet [UNABRIDGED] :
This book was o.k.,but it was a little boring just because I'm not into these kind of books, like surviving in the wilderness. The book is about a 13 year old boy named Brian who is flying to the Canadian oil feilds to visit his father and the piolot has a massive heart attack and dies the plane crashes in a lake inthe middle of the woods Brian has to surive for 50-55 days and then a piolot comes and gets him.During these days he had some problems like;he got attacked by a moose, he got sprayed by a skunk, and he got caught in the middle of a tornado. when he got home he said it was the worst expierience ha had ever had and that he was glad to be home. I probably would have realy liked this book. The types of books I like are about friendships, cheerleading, Lizzie Macguire, dancing, and things that happen in school. So I gave the story a rating of 4.
