Kelly writes the following about Hatchet [UNABRIDGED] :
If you like survival books then you should read this. The story is about a boy named Brian and he was going to see his father. He got a plane there but while flying the plane, the pilot takes a heart attack and dies. Brian has to find shelter and food. He finds out later about how much responsibility and confidence in himself. Later on the book starts to get a little scary. He gets attacked by a moose and gets a whole lot of bumps and scratches. And in the end of the story a surprise happens. I won't tell you what, but when you read the book, you'll find out what happens. I liked the book, but some parts of the book I found kind of boring. But overall I guess I did like the book. I read the book before but, I read it again this year. And I think that I would read it again. What did you think of the book? Write a responce and say what you thought of the book.
