Robert Howie writes the following about Hatchet :
I really liked the book because it was about survivel in the wilderness and the story compared the city that brian used to know to the wilderness he did then. it was really good how the auther decribed things. The events that were happining were very intersting and at the end when brian got the transmitter and un knowingly left it on was a verry interesting way to end the story. In the epolog how it named all the creatures and plants that he had encountered was pretty cool. in the ending of the eplog I thought that brian should have told his "s-e-c-r-e-t" to his father about the blond haired man because I would have liked to have known his fathers recation.
