Salvador writes the following about If I Should Die Before I Wake :
If I should die before I wake is an interesting book.

It is story about the Holocaust and modern day through the eyes of two girls named Hilary and Chana. It's really well thought out, everything feels incredibly life-like. The two stories really go together very well. It's hard to stop reading if you really get into it. Hilary is especially interesting, since she's the most human and relatable character in the book. My only complaint is that one character, beyond all logic, simply refuses to die or act like a human being. This isn't someone you would want around either, with enough passivity and flatness to make a piece of cardboard blush. To me that character alone wrecks the later part of the book. If you don't mind that though I really do recommend this book, even though I didn't like it very much.
