Orla D.D. writes the following about Frindle :
This book is about a boy named Nick Allen and a teacher named Mrs. Granger. Nick likes to make things fun and different. Mrs. Granger is the fifth grade teacher who everyone dreads to have. Though through the story Mrs. Granger gets nicer. The two of them have a word war. Mrs. Granger helps make the word frindle famous. I really enjoyed this book because, it was interesting, fun to read and it had some surprising things in it. I think Andrew Clements is a great writer. I also think Brian Selznick is a great illustrator. To find out what the word frindle means, read the book.
