Meghan writes the following about The Outsiders :

Ponyboy is living with his older brothers after his parents were killed in an accident. He and the other gang members are constantly being beat by the socs, who are the rich kids. When ponyboy and Johnny are being beat and johnny kills one of them, the boys have to run away. I thought it was such a great book it was like amazing its so perfect for people who are about 13-16 its awesome and the movie is reeaaally close to the book but the book is better so read it!!!
