Natalie O'Rourke writes the following about A Child Called 'It' :
I was given this book by a friends mother, she advised me to be prepared for a lot of tears to be shed by me. From cover to cover you will just want to find this poor boy and hug him. As a mother i do not understand how a woman, a mother can treat not only a human being but her own child with such haterid and evilness. This woman deserves all that awaits her in hell. because if the Lord can forgive her for all the wrong doings she lay on this boy then im afraid to say but there can be no god. she is pure evil. the thing that mad me smile at the end of this heartbreaking story is that there is good in this world. With the help of some truely brave and wonderful people David was able to get away from the horrid life he had been delt. Read it and i promise you it will make you realise that your childhood was perfect compaired to this brave young boy. But make sure you have the tissues close at hand because you will need them.
