Collin writes the following about No More Dead Dogs :
Wallace Wallace is a middle school football player who cannot tell a lie at all. But sometimes his truthfullness can get him in trouble. When Wallace rights a review about what he thinks of Old Shep, My Pal, his teacher gives him detention, by making him write a good review of the book while watching the Drama Club put together a play about the book. But Wallace refuses to do it and soon finds himself with the Drama Club everyday. Eventually, Wallace starts to get involved with the play, making suggestions on how to improve it and making it more interesting. But his football team begins to get angry with him and blames him for their losing streak since he is not there. Another problem begins when pranks are played on the set of the play. Everyone in the play is set against Wallace because they think that he was the culprit. This book contains many twists and turns and will keep you guessing until the very end.
