BECKY writes the following about Out of the Dust (Newbery Medal Book) :
Out of the Dust

Out of the Dust was a great book. The author used good words to take you right to the setting. I never did want to put the book down. The book as real live stuff that can happen to any body in this world.

The main character?s name is Billy Jo. Billy Jo is a girl about 10 years old. She is really good at piano. Her mom taught Billy Jo how to play, but she doesn?t want Billy Jo to play most of the time. Her mom died jiving birth to a boy. I really hope you read it some day
