Katelyn writes the following about A Long Way From Chicago :
I am going to tell you about a book I read while I was off track. The book's name is A Long Way From Chicago. The main characters are Mary Alice, Grandma, and Joey Dowdel. This book is about Mary Alice, and Joey Dowdel spending a long week at grandma's house. Where grandma had lived everybody says that she was so big and the town was so small. This story took place in the beging of August. All that Joey Dowdel, and Mary Alice could think of is that there mom and dad said it was going to be a long August. I will recamend this book to other people who like to read. If you don't like to read I would not recamend this book to you. If you do like to read then I would like to see you enjoing this book.It took me a long time to read this book but I enjoyed it while it lasted. Ithought this book was intersting in a lot of ways. One of the ways was when a reporter came to their grandma's house to talk about a dead man named Shotgun Cheatham. I thought that was very strang to come up and talk abuot a dead man. This book will not let you put it down. I enjoyed reading this book a lot. The book would not let me put it down. Sometimes in the middle it will confuse you. Like in one paragragh it will be talking about one thing. Then all of the sudden it will talk about another.I hope enjoyed my book review.
