I cannot compare Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis to other graphic novels because I have never read another graphic novel. But I have seen the Indiana Jones movies when I was a kid, which is what attracted me to this book. Compared to the movies, the book is rather good. Many of the same things happen in the movie as they do in the book. And on that note I would rate this book as a six and a half because it was a good book and mostly kept my attention but some of the illustrations were poorly drawn. And the main reason that it kept my attention so well is that it is an action pack book. Most of the illustrations, however, were drawn well. I also believe that most of the illustrations were appropriate but some of them could have been manipulated better so that they fit in with the text. I also personally would have rather read it in a novel form because the illustrations were a little bit confusing and I felt like I needed to look at and pay extra attention to every detail, just so I would not miss any important details that might come up again later in the story. In other words this is a rather good book to read if you are interested in an action packed book that is also an easy and quick read.
