Sierra Broom writes the following about The Westing Game :
Okay, first off I loved this book (and also the movie). Basically it is about the Death of a rich Samuel W. Westing. Now Westing wasnt killed he was murdered...thus all 16 of his heirs are called to Sunset Towers. The object of the game is to figure out who the murderer is...among themselves (along with a bookie, a bomber, and a mistake). This mischevious game makes friendships, breaks them, and brings out who people REALLY are. The one who can figure out who the murderer is based on a puzzled will and one weird set of clues is the winner of Westings fortune(the big $2 million). But soon enough it is figured out (by some) that Westing wasnt really dead. Infact he was playing his own game! It is finally figured out that Westing is also Sandy McSouthers and Barney Northrup. The actuall winner will be the one who finds the fourth (wind...windkloppel). Turtle Wexler finally figures that the fourth would be no other than the newly elected chairman of Westing Paper Product... Julian R. EASTman... THE FOURTH WIND!!
