Pie-Lover123 writes the following about Artemis Fowl :
Book: Artemis Fowl Author: Eoin Colfer Pages: 304 Genre: Science Fiction Artemis Fowl is 12 years old, and has the highest IQ in all of Europe. Artemis is after one thing only, gold. With the help of his oversized, over muscular manservant Butler, Artemis discovers a whole new population living in the Earth’s core. This whole new population has an endless supply of gold, and this over powerful, genius wants it. You can only guess the actions that will take place in this epic tale of a boy chasing his dreams! I would give this book a 10 because I think this was an amazing book. The comedy moments were hysterical (a 12 year old boy outsmarting grown men), and I thought the action scenes were a fun read (Butler using his Kong fu skills)! I would like to change Artemis’s mom. I would make her normal instead of being sad about her husband disappearing. It was too hard from Artemis’s point of view having no sane parents.
