Pierre Morris writes the following about The Not-Just-Anybody Family :
Summary:The Not-Just-Anybody Family is and ok book about tradgedy, love, and loss. This story consists of the characters Junior, Maggie, Vern, Pap and Mud the dog. The Blossoms lead a life of secrets in a rural area with Junior finding his courage to fly off the family barn with cloth wings and Pap making beer in the basement with pre-bought bottles of old beer. Then everything takes a turn for the worst when the police come near the Blossom's barn. Junior makes a desperate attempt to flee when he falls and breaks both legs which gets him a one way ticket to the hospital without Vern, Maggie or Mud. Plus, Pap's in jail for possessing a gun and dumping a large amount of beer bottles and cans on the road. Will Pap get out of jail? Will Maggie and Vern survive on their own? What will happen to Junior? But most importantly, will the Blossom family fall apart?!
