I really like the book Hatchet, because it was a really realistic adventure book.It make it sound like it was really happening and if You use your imagination you can feel you are in the story.It is like it's really happening in front of you, like if you were watching the movie. The thing that Gary Paulsen did really well is to tell how Brian feels, what he feels,or what he sees,or smells.For example when the plane crashes and lands on the lake it tells what Brian saw in the water, or like the time he got out of the water how he felt if he felt pain,if he drank a lot of water.How he felt that's what Gary Paulsen did really good at. I can't wait to read the other adventure books Gary has written, so I really give a good review about this Hatchet book.
