David Bruneau writes the following about Wormwood :
Wormwood is a story about an astrologist named Blake who comes across a book called the Nemorensis. The Nemorensis was written by an evil goddess and it corrupts the minds of those who read it. Using the Nemorensis, Blake learns of a comet coming to destroy the earth. Blake also has a servant named Agetta who the goddess wants so that the goddess can take her body and live the life of a human. Wormwood is easily the best book I've ever read. It is very fast paced and suspenseful. If you are a fan of Harry Potter or the Lord of the Rings, you will enjoy this book.
