A review by BCRC - Little House in the Big Woods! This book is about a family of five and a dog named Jack. They lived in the big woods of Wisconsin. They had to gather their own food. It was difficult because they had to make everything - even their underwear! We like how she wrote about her life. We enjoyed the illustrations because they looked real and they showed what was actually happening. We rate this book a 6.1
