The House Of The Scorpion is a suspense-filled Sci-Fi novel written by Nancy Farmer. She a three time newberry honor arthor. The House Of The Scorpion, won three medels, the newberry award, the national book award and,the P honor book award. I would rate this book an 8.5 on a 10 point scale 10 being the higest. Iwould rate this because some other books are better and it can get long at some parts but it really good. This book is the best for Sci-Fi and people who are 12 or older.
Matt, El Patron's clone. Matt is also in love with a girl named Maria. Maria also likes Matt. Matt eventually finds out that he's being used for adevious planes of El Patron. then El Patron dies and matt runs away. Just when he thinks he's free he becomes an orphan. being an orphan in this book is truely horrible.
Now you've haer what I think about the book but to improve it I would make the ending longer and I'm not goning to say because it would spoil the book. I strongly encourage you to read this book.
